About Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms…
With more than 650,000 members and supporters nationwide, the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms (www.ccrkba.org) is one of the nation’s premier gun rights organizations. As a non-profit organization, the Citizens Committee is dedicated to preserving firearms freedoms through active lobbying of elected officials and facilitating grass-roots organization of gun rights activists in local communities throughout the United States.
Alan is a strong advocate of defense. A nuclear engineering graduate of the University of Tennessee, publisher of Gun Week, chairman of the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms, Founder of the Second Amendment Foundation, and serves on the Board of Directors of the American Conservative Union.
Answer: Rights are rights. Either we have the right to bear arms or we don’t. As our founding fathers so aptly wrote, “The right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”
Answer: “This is a great gun rights case. The fact that the Supreme Court decided to hear it is really good news for Second Amendment supporters.”
Answer: “I think it now shows that the high court will now start to hear many challenges to anti-gun rights laws.”
Answer: No. The New York State Rifle & Pistol Association initiated the suit but we might file an amicus brief in support of 2nd Amendment rights.
