Anthony Delgado is a serial entrepreneur and software developer, the Chairman of Disrupt University, an alternative education company that offers various coding bootcamps and online learning programs, as well as the CEO and Co-Founder of Disrupt Digital, a full-service digital agency servicing SMB clients around the world. Anthony has won numerous hackathons sponsored by Fortune 500 tech companies like Google, IBM, Intel, Facebook and Microsoft and hosted by organizations including Rutgers University, the New Jersey Institute of Technology, the AT&T Developer Summit in New York City. I have been a software developer, digital marketer / growth hacker and serial entrepreneur for the last 10 years. My passion is using technology to make a positive impact.

What makes you the best version of yourself?:

I am the best when I am under pressure. My friends have nicknamed me a savage because when I am in a high pressure situation and my back is up against the wall I always take action.

What are your aspirations? (Personal and Business):

I am currently on a mission to transform the island of Puerto Rico and create a digital nomad economy for the 3.5 million residents.

Biggest Success?:

I am a professional hacker. I have won numerous hackathons sponsored by Fortune 500 tech companies like Google, IBM, Intel, Facebook and Microsoft and hosted by organizations including Rutgers University, the New Jersey Institute of Technology, the AT&T Developer Summit in New York City.

Most Challenging Moment?:

Growing up without my father around was tough. I didn’t always have the best male role models and it took me time to figure out who to trust and who to look up to in the world.

Motto?:

Don’t ask permission, ask forgiveness. You have to take action in life, don’t be afraid to fail, and take risks. That is the only way to become successful.

Favorite People/Role Models?:

I really look up to Elon Musk. He is currently the CEO of 3 highly successful and extremely impactful companies. Tesla, Solarcity and SpaceX. Making electric cars cool, making solar power viable and leading the new frontier into space and into colonizing Mars.

When ever I get stuck I always ask myself, what would Elon do.

Favorite Places/Destinations?:

My heart belongs to the island of enchantment, Puerto Rico. Beautiful beaches, the best food and culture and truly amazing people.

Favorite Products/Objects?:

My iPhone X and my Macbook Pro are the only two essential tools that I can’t live without.

Current Passions?:

Being a thought leader for the new digital nomad revolution. Teaching people how to create financial freedom for themselves and their lives. Creating a digital economy for the 3.5 million people on the island of Puerto Rico.
