Casey Cohen is a NASM Certified Fitness Trainer & Hospitality Expert, previously focused on Business Development, Operations & Customer Relations. Before Co-Founding SALIDO in June 2014 to July 2018 as the VP of Hospitality, Casey spearheaded Customer Development & VIP Relations for The Butter Group: (1OAK, Up&Down & Butter Midtown) for over a decade where she’s worked with every Hollywood A-Lister: Leo Dicaprio, Adam Levine, Puffy, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, John Legend, Rihanna & Justin Timberlake, to name a few. Casey is very passionate about art & education and is always finding a way to give back. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Studio Art & a Masters Degree in Art Education both from New York University.

The minute I got accepted into New York University for Studio Art, I knew I would move to New York City. It was the magic moment. I had traveled to the city from Long Island to go out into the nightlife scene during High School, so I knew if I wanted to be anything and go after my dreams, I needed to be in city that never sleeps. I love the drive, the ambition and the talent that exists here. If you want to make it happen, you can create the opportunity for yourself.

Favorite breakfast meal & restaurant?

That’s a hard question for me, being that I grew up in the hospitality industry. I love ABC Kitchen’s French Toast if I want to indulge but also could easily pick up a Kind Bar on the go.

What are you doing at:

6:00 AM – Depending upon the day, I’m either up training, going to my 1st class or trying to get some more sleep!

10:00 AM – I’ve either crushed my 1st class, on the way to my second or I’m eating breakfast & answering emails.

12:00 PM – Favorite Power spot/meal?

Depending upon which area I’ve done class (obviously), my go to lunch spots: Dig Inn, Pressed Juicery, Mulberry & Vine, Made Nice, HoneyBrains & Inday. Oh! And of course, Sweetgreen.

7:00 PM –  Taking class. Probably number 3 or 4 of the day!

11:00 PM – Sleeping? …. Or I’m out in the city that never sleeps.

What drink do you need to get through the day and at the end (and how many)?

Starbucks is one of the most used apps on my IPhone. I need caffeine for my 20 hour days.

Most used App/Favorite Instagram Account?

I’m probably using Instagram the most! I love feeling connected to my friends, watching their stories, being in the know.

What should everyone try at least once?

Something that scares them. I do it everyday.

Where do you enjoy getting lost?

Music. It’s really important to take yourself out of your body sometimes & get lost in music. It’s probably one of my favorite parts about taking SoulCycle classes. Getting lost in the music, noticing if I’m present, what I’m thinking about and holding onto & being brave enough to let go.
