Career Snapshot:

I’ve worked with Deloitte and developed the Chinese Services Group. I sharpening my corporate skill set. At the age of 34, I was one of the youngest partners at Deloitte, and worked on over 500 transactions with Fortune 500 companies. After Deloitte I went on to purchase several entities, engaged in several transactions, raised capital, and managed/developed the operations and mergers of several companies. David, with his team, also managed several projects and consulted clients in the food, health, entertainment and real-estate industries. 

David joined SparkleCOIN in 2017, a blockchain and cryptocurrency company, as CFO and VP of Business Strategy—David worked closely on the development and strategy of the company and is excited that SparkleCOIN was the first cryptocurrency with “real world” applications for P2P and B2B transactions. SparkleCOIN is a self-pre-funded operation and has its own fully developed blockchain. SparkleCOIN had a successful ICO in December ending at $37.  David worked as Vice President of Business Strategy, he also works on business development, financial strategies, blockchain development for business use, blockchain implementation, blockchain strategy, ICO consulting, and client development for business use.

Most recently, David started the group GTIF Capital and is partnered with several major businesses in the esports, technology, healthcare, branding, and real-estate industries.  David sits on several boards including Faze Clan the largest esports team, MiCamp Solutions, Commloan a commercial lending firm that has done over $1 billion in commercial loans, Tengri Holdings a $4 billion mining company, and Sharebert a Fortune’s Top 20 Techs that will change business, and has helped develop strategies for several companies.

Im the definition of the American Dream. I came to this country with my family, the clothes on my back, and whatever I could fit into one bag. I was homeless, could not speak English, and was an outcast. I worked harder than everyone around me and now speaking 5 languages, was one of the youngest in history to make partner at Deloitte, and now am a partner at GTIF Capital. I am unique in the sense that I worked a corporate job but took my additional income and time to start private businesses. I am a “Corprenuer.” This success came with stress, fear, tears, selfdoubt, but you survive 100% of your worst days. I focus on being a positive and optimistic person. Helping people and giving back is something I love doing. Treat the janitor as well as the CEO. Panda loves you.

Emerging industry trends?:

Industries that I see on the rise and trending are CBD, esports, blockchain technology, manufacturing, and marketing/branding.

Ideal experience for a customer/client?:

You have to have an emotional connection with you customer. The product has to bring value and has to resonate with them for repeat purchases. Ideally a client or customer becomes more than a customer of time building a relationship.

How do you motivate others?:

I am consistently posting to social media platforms and am getting in front of people speaking about positivity and real-life perspective in general. I strive to be an optimist and a positive person that inspires others to follow their dreams.

Career advice to those in your industry?:

You can be anything you want to be as long as you really want to do it. In this day and age, with Google you can become an expert in your field. It’s just a matter of doing it. Never give up, never quit on yourself, and don’t be afraid of failure. Don’t worried about other people’s opinions. They will laugh and talk bad about you when you are down, and hate on you when you are winning… what’s the difference?

Double Dopio and unsweet Green Tea from Starbucks, at least 2 on long days

I don’t have a favorite. I use WeChat for the people I do busy with in China and Asian, I use Linkedin for professional business content, Instagram is bringing business and real life together, and I use snapchat for close personal friends

What should everyone try at least once?

Failing at something, working through the challenges and adversity, and succeeding. It humbles you and builds confidence
