Career Snapshot:

As a deep thinker, seeker and creative, I have been on a journey of self discovery for as long as I can remember. Growing up in small town Canada, I was a girl with big dreams, varied interests and a hunger for opportunity and growth. Once finished with high school, I moved to Vancouver to attend University where my path of self discovery deepened. At 21, I decided I was going to commit to a career as an actress and I began to study the craft of acting, along with human behavior, psychology, personal development and spirituality. Around the same time I got married, and while 7 months pregnant, moved to Los Angeles where I only knew one person other than my husband. It was a lonely time for me and a big adjustment but it led me to delve deeper into learning about myself. My growth continued as I worked as an actress, navigated the entertainment industry, separated and divorced when my son was just a toddler and created a co parenting relationship with my ex husband. After splitting with my husband, I got into an addictive on and off  relationship for the next 7.5 years. To gain financial independence I began a career as a real estate agent, and worked for a real estate technology startup company. These were extraordinarily trying times but ultimately, I was compelled to look even more deeply at myself, what I was creating in my life and why. Throughout these times, I continually used the contrast of what I did not want to define what I did want. I studied story and patterns and learned how to change my story and break patterns. I learned how to let go of resistance and connect with the energy of source in order to facilitate and integrate these changes. Once I was able to train my body to a new way of being and to embody the change I wanted in my life, I was able to break the emotions and patterns that were running my life.

What are your aspirations? (Personal and Business):

I aspire to have a huge reach as a coach, speaker, writer and teacher. I want to help as many people as I possibly can to wake up to their lives, take responsibility, be inspired, break through and live with joy and purpose. Personally, I want to continue cultivating the amazing family I have as it continues to grow, to build and nurture strong and fulfilling relationships with family and friends and do more traveling!

Biggest Success?:

Raising a wonderful child, having an amazing coparenting relationship with his father who is a best friend and like a brother to my fiancé and me, calling in my fiancé who is the prototype for the supportive masculine

Most Challenging Moment?:

There were many of them throughout my previous 7.5 year off and on relationship but. What that relationship taught me about myself, others, relationships, how to get unstuck and manifest change, and so many other areas — has been entirely priceless.

What Else To Know

My Goal of the Day:

To use the best I have to offer to make the most positive impact possible.

My Tip of the Day:

Change starts from within. The next time you find yourself getting upset with someone else or something that is happening outside of you, look inside instead. Do it with compassion and love, with zero blame but with full responsibility. Start asking yourself questions such as, “where is this coming from?”. It is amazing the discoveries you can make with a little bit of self-inquiry. Change occurs when we fully accept and embrace ourselves and our lives, and then begin the work of looking within. As we shift so does what shows up in our world.

How did you get into the industry?

About 7.5 years ago I answered an ad for a dating coach. It was one of those things where I had a strong sense of knowing that I would be effective in that role. I was hired and it turns out my instincts were right! It was the culmination of everything I had been studying for the 15 years leading up to that, the skills I had cultivated, and the experiences I brought together from my relationships and work life up until that point. After a few more years of building stability in my own life I decided to become a full time life coach.

Career advice to those in your industry?

A strong support system has been so important to me. Having people in my life that can honestly reflect back to me in a loving way, push me when I need it, hold me accountable, that I can bounce ideas off of, and who absolutely believe in me has been one of the most helpful tools for me in advancing along this career path. This is something that I deliberately built and cultivated so if you don’t already have one in place trust that you can create it if you decide to.

Ideal experience for a customer/client?

The people I work with are looking for results — growth that leads to getting unstuck, unblocked, creating change in specific areas, and reaching new heights in their lives. What I offer is a very nurturing and supportive context that also comes with directness, no bs, accountability and pushing when the time is right. When clients start working with me they quickly see results show up in their lives. Those who stay committed experience the benefits of long term growth and change.

How do you motivate others?

I motivate others by example, by leading them in self inquiry so they can see what is blocking their motivation, and by helping them define and then connect with what they want to create in their lives. Most people most of the time are so focused on what they don’t want that they live in that. They connect with that and live in that space without even knowing it. They may think they are lazy and unmotivated without even realizing they are aligned with the opposite of what they have been saying they want. Once they begin to purposefully align with what they do want, they find that motivation starts to change.
