James Harris was born and raised in London, England, where he started his career in real estate at the impressive age of 17. After five years working in a residential office as an investment agent, James decided to move to Los Angeles to broaden his experience and take advantage of the glorious California weather. He hasn’t looked back. Today, his American dream has come true and James has the opportunity to work in a city he loves with an incredibly talented group of people. He and his business partner, David Parnes, specialize in high-end residential real estate and investment properties in The Hollywood Hills, Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Pacific Palisades, Malibu, Brentwood and The Greater Los Angeles region. James and David formed Bond Street Partners together in 2011, and their gross sales for 2013 alone exceed $120 million, with another $150 million in escrow. The partners’ “no-nonsense” approach to closing deals, coupled with their extensive address book of high-net-worth international and domestic clients, has ensured they have risen to the top of their game in an astoundingly short timeframe. James was recently named one of “Hollywood’s Top 25 Real Estate Agents” by The Hollywood Reporter.

In addition to residential sales, James has extensive experience with commercial properties, such as the 2013 sale of 8436-8452 Melrose Place, a significant commercial building that is home to Oscar De La Renta, Chloe and The Olsen Twins’ store, The Row, among others. He also boasts in-depth international experience, not only from his upbringing, but from years of working with buyers, sellers and investors from all over the globe. This is something integral to success in today’s high-end real estate market. James loves working with his clients as they go through the home-buying or selling process, one of the most important times of their lives. He enjoys matching buyers with their dream homes and communities, as well as assisting sellers to make this transaction as easy, stress-free and efficient as possible. Throughout the process, James’ primary focus is on the client. He loves what he does, and he wants the client to love it too. James is happily married, with a beautiful wife and two daughters. When not at work, he and his family enjoy going to the beach and spending quality time together.
