What do you do best?:

In the art world you’re always looking for the next great opportunity. I think my strength is looking forward and anticipating trends in the market and allocating resources (time, money, energy) toward those trends. It’s also extremely important in this industry to get in front of the artwork and to network, so a big part of my job is attending gallery openings, art fairs, and auctions.

What makes you the best version of yourself?:

In the art world you’re always looking for the next great opportunity. I think my strength is looking forward and anticipating trends in the market and allocating resources (time, money, energy) toward those trends. It’s also extremely important in this industry to get in front of the artwork and to network, so a big part of my job is attending gallery openings, art fairs, and auctions.

What are your aspirations? (Personal and Business):

In business, being focused on the future is imperative, I am at my best when I am actively pursuing new opportunities and making new connections. Because communication and networking are fundamental and daily parts of my job, I have found that these skills have strengthened significantly over the years, making me both a better communicator and a better listener. In my line of work, you’re only as good as your last deal, so you have to keep your eye on the horizon and your ear to the ground.

Biggest Success?:

As a person deeply committed to my family, I hope to create a business that continues to grow into something I am proud to pass down to my kids.

Most Challenging Moment?:

As a stead-fast rule I don’t rest on my laurels. Though I am certainly proud of what I have been able to achieve in the art world in the last ten years, I am constantly looking for ways to grow and ameliorate. I have had the pleasure and good fortune to travel the world many times over, deal in artwork valued at 7 and 8 figures, and all of that while meeting intelligent and fascinating people. And with that said, I believe that my biggest successes are yet to come.

Motto?:

When I decided to change careers and move to New York from LA it was an extremely difficult period in my life. In this shift, just about everything changed, going from the entertainment industry to the art world seemed like an extreme evolution. Once I established a reliable network of contacts and assembled a strong support team behind me, we really started to pick up steam. And we haven’t looked back since. It’s never easy starting over but I couldn’t be prouder of the business and relationships I’ve developed on the East Coast.

Favorite People/Role Models?:

Timing is everything.

Favorite Places/Destinations?:

Being in the art world, I am constantly surrounded by brilliant artists and their work. Artists Cindy Sherman and George Condo are inspirations to me, both for their creative talent and their astounding intellect. In business, I look to the titans of industry Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos, as they have changed the fabric of our society and demonstrate what is possible if you are willing to have a greater vision.

Favorite Products/Objects?:

We have a house in Hawaii, which we consider our sanctuary. My line of work tends to be quite stressful, so going there helps me decompress and reconnect with my surroundings. I have a strong connection to Hawaii.

Current Passions?:

I am one of the lucky few who is truly passionate about work. I get to meet interesting, successful, and creative people all of the time who constantly inspire me.
