As of May 2018, Jordan officially joined the Cast of Hit Television show “Summer House” on Bravo TV. Summer House is an American reality television series on the Bravo cable network. I’ve always had an interest in networking and building relationships. The technology space has presented and incredible opportunity for me to connect my love for entrepreneurship with the ease and wide use of new emerging technologies. I enjoy networking and being able to access my network of incredible contacts, friends and business associates: I have been able to maneuver my way deeper into the industry and successfully navigate into helping make CapGenius successful thus far.
I’ve noticed that in these last few years; the industry has been changing rapidly and “Content Is King!” I’ve seen that brands are having issues connecting with their demographic and engaging with them across multiple media platforms. We’ve been able to help solve that issue with CapGenius and drive our platform of users back to these incredible brands wile organically engaging them through creative and curated content.
CapGenius has been a great opportunity to create and environment to help people become creative while also being able to analytically collect the trends of what people are searching for. We are able to take this data and create new content and better engage our audience by creating content on the basis of what they are searching for.
My business partner and I came up with the idea for CapGenius while eating dinner in Miami last year. We were with two other people that were struggling with coming up with great content to go with one of their food pictures they wanted to post to social media. While the initial idea started as a native app, we moved to a keyboard when Apple updated their new keyboard enabling users to stay in their current emails, text messages, dating apps, tweets, Snapchats or Intsagrams while still using an searching for “what to say” through our keyboard.
We are launching our Android version next week! We are now able to gather data through analytics and create content based on what our users are searching for. We see this application used everywhere from opening lines in dating apps to music lyrics at concerts. There are some extremely exciting things to come soon this year!
The initial initiative was to secure all IP patents, trademarks, copyright applications and other protection to make sure that our idea couldn’t be replicated. Since everything has been put in place to ensure the success of CapGenius, we have been able to partner with incredible companies and people such as Betches, Girl With No Job, Robby Hayes, The Balanced Blonde and 90’s Fest. These great partners have curated incredible content and environments for our audience and help prove CapGenius to be an incredible tool for engage in a way that has not previously been accessible to brands.
Making sure that your team of developers, designers, writers, creative, lawyers, and other team members are working hard not because they have to but because they WANT to be something that is tough to teach. I’ve learned that you must hire employees that you can trust to work from anywhere and help inspire them to be a part of and create something bigger than themselves.
Our ideal customer experience is having our users use this keyboard in their daily lives just as they would use this for a normal QWERTY keyboard. There are so many applications and uses for our technology. CapGenius is bridging the gap in the social media world between helping people be creative and what to say with engaging our audience with brands on a broader scale.
A good start is to write down your goals for the day and cross them off as you complete them. These can be things as simple as working out, going to the grocery or walking your dog. I suggest that you try to do at least one thing each day that your future self is going to thank you for. In turn, over the long run you will become who you want to be. By focusing on the little building blocks each day instead of worrying about a huge obstacle; you are able to tackle extraordinary things one day at a time.
Your ability to adapt each and every day is a huge part in defining who you are as a person. Every day you will face decisions, adversity, and sometimes failures that are all part of life. Remember that failure is just another obstacle and not the end result. When adversity is thrown at you; kick and scream and punch until you get back up and bounce back. The ability to adapt and bounce back is one of the most important character traits that you can possess.
