What do you love most about Your City?
The abundance of great produce available here for us to use in traditional recipes and making it better. And also the multicultural society here, allowing different kinds and ethnics of food available to us.
Favorite breakfast meal & restaurant?
Favourite breakfast would be a bowl of curry laksa, or anything with noodles and soup.
Favourite restaurant at the moment is sixpenny!
What are you doing at:
6:00 AM – getting my last hour of sleep before the kids wake me up to make breakfast
10:00 AM – dropping the kids off at childcare and going into the office to clear off all paperwork for the day
12:00 PM – Favourite lunch would be anything that involves rice and chilli, at the moment favourite lunch spot would be Shalom, an Indonesian eatery where I normally get grilled duck with rice and chilli.
7:00 PM – bang on, first seating at the restaurant done and orders sent out, now its time to refill, refill, refill for our second seating which starts at 8pm.
11:00 PM – going thru with the team how our services went, what can be improved on, and doing stocktake and placing orders for our deliverys tomorrow
What drink do you need to get through the day and at the end (and how many)?
Coffee, black. I need at least 1 in the morning when I wake up and another one in the afternoon around 4pm before our first dinner service begins.
At the end of the day, I’d like to finish with a glass or two of red wine before calling it.
Most used App/Favorite Instagram Account?
Most used app atm is google translator as I am trying to learn and communicate with my staffs in chinese.
Favourite insta account would be hongstagram or sbs food
What should everyone try at least once?
Everything! If you haven’t had it before, try it!
