My name is Kyle Jones. I am a 29 years old and from Houston, Texas. As a former collegiate athlete, I understand the importance of total wellness. Being a 2x National Powerlifitng Champion and a Pro Physique Bodybuilder, I know that true wellness lies in the hands of recovery and preventative care. Majoring in Exercise Sports Science and Business Management from Texas State University, I gained a passion for entrepreneurship in the health and wellness space. I quickly became a top income earner in the Direct Selling industry while launching what is now one the world’s largest Cryotherapy franchise systems.
I am a millennial entrepreneur driven by the success of others. I am motivated everyday to bring out the best in people. I wake up to live a life of significance not of success. A Day in My Life:
What do you love most about Your City?
Houston is one of the top 5 largest cities in America while being less than and hour away from one of the largest ports in the country. I get to enjoy the ocean and the big city all in the same day. I like the diversity in events, nightlife, restaurants, theme parks and other social gathering options. I enjoy the outdoor active lifestyle.
Favorite breakfast meal & restaurant?
My favorite breakfast food is French Toast and my favorite restaurant is Mastros Steakhouse.
What are you doing at: This is extremely hard to answer, as everyday for me is different!
6:00 AM – Reviewing/responding to emails and cooking breakfast for my wife and I
10:00 AM – At the iCRYO Corporate office working with the team
12:00 PM – Favorite Lunch spot/meal? I enjoy some of the local smaller restaurants during the day. Antonini’s Sub Shop in Kemah, Texas has one of the best Philly cheesesteak sandwiches on the planet and I love going there.
7:00 PM – I am usually at the gym around this time. The gym is my time to disconnect from the world and is “my time.” It’s my sanctuary! I can block out everything and focus on me. I love working out by myself.
11:00 PM – My wife and I enjoy cracking open a nice bottle of red wine and spending time together watching the latest shows or movies we are into. Spending quality time with my wife and family is only second to spending time with God in my daily prayer.
What drink do you need to get through the day and at the end (and how many)?
There are 2 drinks I drink throughout the day that keep me hyper-focused and on point. There is a health and wellness supplement company out there called IDLife that has amazing products. I drink two of the “Orange Energy” drinks and 2 of the “Slim+” drinks every single day. They are naturally derived products so I don’t get big crashes.
If you are referring to alcoholic drinks: I am a big fan of winding down at the end of the day with a glass or two of red wine. My wife and I both like red wine. I am also a huge fan of craft cocktails, such as an Old Fashion and craft beers, specifically IPAs.
Most used App/Favorite Instagram Account?
I use Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn all around the same amount. I am highly active on all 3 platforms.
What should everyone try at least once?
Something they are scared of! (It’s different for everyone)
Where do you enjoy getting lost?
My Native AdVice:
How did you get into the industry?
After graduating college, I was pursuing my Doctorate to become a Physical Therapist. I was working full time at a local physical therapy clinic in Houston when I was introduced to cryotherapy. It was such a revolutionary therapy that it immediately caught my attention. As I realized how new it was here in the United States, my entrepreneurial mind kicked in. I knew I had my hands on something that would soon take over the world of total wellness in the years to come.
Career advice to those in your industry?
There is no such thing as “self made”! It takes a team to get the job done. Secondly, having a Personal Growth plan is one of the main reasons I am who I am today. Growing yourself in all aspects of life should be a top priority in to everyone. Growing your mind, body and soul should never stop. The world of business is brutal a place, you have to love unconditionally and be unoffendable just like your maker is. Your #1 core value should be people! Serve the people around you, as the world goes round and round soon the service will come back your way.
Any emerging industry trends?
Cryotherapy is an extremely evolving industry. It is already projected to be a $4Billion+ industry by year 2024. The main advancements are in machine manufacturing and safety protocols to insure the experience of a cryotherapy session is as safe as possible and most effective for the guest.
Ideal experience for a customer/client?
The main benefit of our service is reducing the inflammation in the body and increasing circulation. Inflammation is directly correlated to roughly all of your daily struggles and issues. Headaches, migraines, stress, joint pain, sleep, depression, anxiety, muscles soreness are just a few things that can be correlated to inflammation in the body. To relieve the body of some or all of these issues leaves our guests with and amazing experience of feeling better than ever.
How do you motivate others?
I lead with a “coaching approach”. People need to learn to be coachable in life or they will never truly excel and reach their God given potential. One of the main reasons I am the man I am today is because I have had life coaches and mentors along the way that have coached me in all areas of my life to help me improve the areas that I needed work on. You must be coachable! Taking the coaching approach brings the tension level down from one person to another and allows for an easier transfer of vision.
My Native AdVantage:
What are my aspirations?
I strive every day to be the husband to my wife, leader to my staff and positive role model to my followers. I have my bad days just like anyone else but I make it my job to positively impact someone every single day.
My Biggest Success?
Not letting the world get the best of me! This is an ongoing accomplishment and I believe we all fight this every day. The world is filled with negativity and will beat the greatness out of you. Most people find themselves miserable because the world tells them what to like or what is right. Standing up for what you believe every single day is hard to do for most people. Even if they do it one day they don’t remain consistent and do it everyday. Remaining consistent in my beliefs every single day is my greatest accomplishment.
My Most Challenging Moment?
This is hard to answer because all of my days are filled with challenging decisions. I would say my
most meaningful personal decision I have ever made but it wasn’t my most challenging decision, because I knew it was the right one, was getting married.
You must give up the GOOD to have the GREAT!
