Saw a video on animal production (slaughterhouses) and immediately became vegetarian – after that it was a quick shift into wanting to align my principals with my everyday work. Stray Dog Capital and I found each other pretty quickly.
Plant based is everywhere and ever-growing. The shift into consuming less animal products has been driven by Millennials but followed by other generations (due to health concerns.) It’s great news for the environment, animals – and our business!
I care deeply about the development of those who work for me and work with them to help them grow into who they are meant to be. In doing so, I balance candid conversations with positive feedback and make sure I don’t overdo either side.
Be open to other industries and keep in touch with headhunters. Always take the call, even though it may look different than what you were looking for.
To help the world shift into food consumption that is better for you (health wise), has a lighter footprint on the environment and is better for animals.
To raise empathetic, driven and caring men that will do the right thing, no matter what others say.
To have a strong, long lasting and growing marriage.
To have adventures in this world and never stop growing and learning.
Being fearless in taking on big challenges (Half Ironman, career changes, moving away from my Country)
Pull up as you go up.
My mother – She had me at 17 and never gave up. She’s the most giving, family-oriented, smart and caring person I know.
My husband- The wisest human being I know, who can figure anything out and who always has my back (and makes me smile)
The SDC Co-Founders –I have never found more generous and giving people on the planet. They are the human beings I aspire to be.
Be productive, be kind and be healthy.
Be mindful of the everyday moments. Take the time to capture it, breathe it in, be grateful and then recap it that night or the next day while journaling to savor it.
Coffee, Work, Exercise.
Act of random kindness.
Making small changes every day add up to a large change someday – eating one plant-based meal, writing a letter to your Senator, going for a walk…
