A Day in My Life: Founder, Fueled.com
What do you love most about Your City?
The people first, the food second, and the culture third.
Favorite breakfast meal & restaurant?
My breakfast every morning is one simple thing: a fresh young thai coconut cracked open.
What are you doing at:
6:00 AM – I probably went to bed a couple hours before this, so I’m likely still asleep as I often work late into the night. I follow a day schedule that works best for my productivity. I divide each day into three seven-hour sections plus three hours for leisure. Two seven hour working sessions plus seven hours for sleep, and one hour for both winding and unwinding plus two hours for my daily social outing which is more often than not over a meal.
11:00 AM – I am riding my Xiaomi Mi electric scooter to the Fueled office. I love the flexibility and speed an electric scooter gives me when moving around the downtown.
12:00 PM – Favorite Lunch spot/meal?
I usually have lunch in meetings while at the office! I get my lunch delivered via Caviar from several places. Some of my favorites include Good Stock, Dimes, and Atla.
8:00 PM – I’m heading to dinner. I eat every meal out and have a dinner from 2 to 6 people setup every evening. Could be a date (social) or work related. My fridge at home is pristinely empty. 🙂
11:00 PM – I come back to the office to focus on emails. It’s what I call my creative heads-down time. No distractions. No one replying to my emails. I can simply focus on the work at hand. I usually leave the office between 3 and 3:30am.
What drink do you need to get through the day and at the end (and how many)?
I mentioned before that I drink coconut water everyday, but I have a few other hacks to what I consume. I don’t drink coffee (or any drink with caffeine) and also rarely take in alcohol. Sometimes in the evening I’ll have a coconut based golden milk with turmeric.
Most used App/Favorite Instagram Account?
For music: Soundcloud. For productivity: Captio. For email: Superhuman. For ride share: Juno. While my account is still active I ditched IG back in 2016.
What should everyone try at least once?
I recommend going to Burning Man. It’s another version of reality that everyone, i believe, would benefit from seeing, at least once.
Where do you enjoy getting lost?
The Dutchess in upstate New York, it’s a secret farm hotel that i’m involved in. It’s an hour outside of the city making it a perfect escape from Manhattan. 🙂
