What Else To Know

My Goal of the Day:

Do something that makes the world a little bit better.

My Thought of the Day:

People who patch their worn jeans don’t buy jeans with holes in them. But both kinds of people need to be listened to and respected.

My Action of the Day:

Vote, write 600 words and listen carefully to patients.

My Deed of the Day:

I voted.

My Tip of the Day:

Stay present and listen well.

My Pic of the Day:
Tell Us More:

What do you love most about Your City? I love living in Manhattan because I can be anywhere in half an hour—see a play at the Public Theater, go to the movies, eat in a dozen different restaurants or go to a museum.

Favorite breakfast meal & restaurant?

My favorite breakfast is two poached eggs with spinach and coffee. My favorite breakfast place is in Washington, CT—Hidden Valley.

What are you doing at:

6:00 AM – I am sleeping.

10:00 AM – I am seeing patients or writing.

12:00 PM – Favorite Lunch spot/meal?

My favorite lunch spot is Le Midi on East 13th Street in Manhattan. I love their omelets with a salad on the side.

7:00 PM – I am seeing patients or eating dinner with my husband.

11:00 PM – I am watching “The Eleventh Hour” with Brian Williams.

What drink do you need to get through the day and at the end (and how many)?

I drink one cup of coffee in the morning; one cup of green tea in the afternoon; and 1 or 2 glasses of wine at dinner.

What should everyone try at least once?

Eggs en meurette (eggs poached in red wine with bits of bacon) preferably in a café in Burgundy!

Scallops with foie gras

Where do you enjoy getting lost?

I like to get lost in European cities like London, Barcelona, Amsterdam and Paris. There are always architectural wonders or shops that I never would have known about. And it’s easy to find your way again eventually!
