FOUNDER, LFA AGENCY & PR DISPATCH
Rosie Davies-Smith is the founder of PR agency LFA and PR subscription business, PR Dispatch. Rosie founded LFA in 2013 to disrupt the traditional PR model and offer honest PR to great product-based brands without the inflated price tag. The agency has won multiple awards including agency of the year and Rosie won Creative Industries Entrepreneur of the year in 2016. The agency has worked with some of the best independent brands in the UK and has gained thousands of pieces of press for them. In 2016 Rosie and the team at LFA realised that there are thousands of brands world wide with incredible products that want to target UK press but don’t have the budget to pay for a PR agency. She launched PR Dispatch to give brands insider information on how to pitch their products to press and who to contact for just £59 p/m. The community of brands DIYing their PR has grown to hundreds and PR Dispatch has quickly become a favourite amongst the small business community and beyond.
What do you love most about Your City?
That I can think I’ve seen it all and I find another new cobbled street with restaurants or bars. London is such an incredible blend of the old and modern with so many hidden gems.
Favorite breakfast meal & restaurant?
Avocado on sour dough toast with rock salt and chilli flakes.
What are you doing at:
6:00 AM – I’d love to say I was doing Yoga but I am usually sleeping. I need my sleep to function and love my bed.
10:00 AM – Usually at my desk working my way through my to do list and checking over work that has been completed by the team. Some days I might be out and about at meetings or doing PR workshops.
12:00 PM: Favorite Lunch Spot?
Our office is in Borough which is just by London Bridge. There are so many great spots to grab lunch. I usually get a katsu curry or sweet and sour chicken from a thai food stall. I eat there that often I have a loyalty card. I then usually try and sit outside in the park or on the roof top on top of our office block as we have a roof terrace with the most amazing views.
7:00 PM – If I am not at an event then I love to have a chilled evening. I live in South East London with my husband and our cat and dog.
11:00 PM – We are usually in bed but listening to relaxing music and winding down. I love mindfulness and am trying to make sure that we spend more time reading and reflecting.
What drink do you need to get through the day and at the end (and how many)?
I have two… Diet coke – cans not bottle and about 2 a day. And cups of tea, too many to count but I think it’s about 10 – 15 per day.
Most used App/Favorite Instagram Account?
Instagram is by far by most used app. I love @nude_yogagirl… she’s always in the most amazing places and in yoga positions that I would love to one day be able to do.
What should everyone try at least once?
Solo travelling and holidays. I find it completely clears my mind and it’s when I come up with the best ideas for my businesses.
Where do you enjoy getting lost?
Anywhere near the sea. You can’t beat sea air and sand. I love the British coast even when it’s cold!
