What do you love most about NYC?
I love the energy and the fast pace of the city.
I live in Westchester, which is a suburb about 25 miles outside Manhattan but feels worlds apart. It’s very green and beautiful, however it is often quiet and dormant.
Each morning when I get off the train at Grand Central, the rush of the city takes over and I get the feeling that I can conquer the world!
What’s happening at:
6:00 AM – I wake up, make myself a cup of coffee and take my Golden Doodle for a nice long walk. I then wake up my kids (I have 3 boys ages, 9, 14 and 16) and get them ready for school.
10:00 AM – I get off the train at Grand Central. I have been going through here every day for the past 10 years and I’m still moved by the architecture and the grandeur of the place.
12:00 PM – I go out for lunch. I usually grab sushi or a salad and eat at my desk (bad habit I know but great use of time) or I go for a lunch meeting in the area.

7:00 PM – I get off the train at home. I breath in the fresh air and try to leave the rush of the day behind and enjoy a calm evening with my family.
When its nice out, we barbecue outside and dip in the pool. I feel very lucky that I get the best of both worlds; The rush of the city and the serenity of the suburbs.
11:00 PM – By 11 PM I’m usually fast asleep during the week. On weekends I am often out but I definitely need my beauty sleep.
Where do you enjoy getting lost in NYC?
I’m currently obsessed with Nolita/ChinaTown/ Little Italy.
We currently have a project going on in the area and every time I am there I discover another cool spot. Whether it is an exotic fruit stand or an amazing bar, there are countless hidden gems in the area. There is so much diversity in such a small space, making it a microcosm of the city, in my opinion.
