A Day in My Life:
What do you love most about Your City? I love New York’s architectural beauty and the amount of clean air and water it has for a city of its size. I also love the diversity of amazing art institutions that it offers, and that it acts as a magnet for global convening.
Favorite breakfast meal & restaurant?
Eggs with parmesan cheese at Sant Ambreous.
What are you doing at:
6:00 AM – Still sleeping:)
10:00 AM – Either working out (doing yoga or poi) or heading to the office!
12:00 PM – Favorite Lunch spot/meal?
Vegan soup or a smoothie at Juice Press in Rockefeller Center. For a sit down meal, I love the Sea Grill (also in Rockefeller Center) and the view it offers of the skating rink.
7:00 PM – I’m hopefully home! My husband and I often have after work engagements such as art openings or talks at the Council on Foreign Relations, but we always aim to be at our apartment for dinner by 8pm.
11:00 PM – Doing mini crossword puzzles with my husband before diving into dreamland
What drink do you need to get through the day and at the end (and how many)?
I drink a lot of water- a least 8 glasses! I love to have a decaf latte in the am.
Most used App/Favorite Instagram Account?
@Theleafbread for its design and intentional living inspiration, and @Zerowastechef for tips on eliminating waste and plastic-use in kitchen.
What should everyone try at least once?
Something that they are afraid of doing. Push through the fear and come out the other side. It’s amazing! I recently did karaoke in front of a strange audience, and I loved it! It inspired me to take singing lessons.
Where do you enjoy getting lost?
I don’t really like getting lost in a physical place… but I love getting lost in the recesses of my own mind, and having the time and space to do so. This is where my creativity is born- in the wandering of my mind.
