What do you do best?:

I consider myself my own “mood manager” and I am always aware of the present moment that I am in. I stay very in tune with my emotions and my control over them. I focus on trust and instinct when listening to my inner voice and feelings. I always feel, think and then implement action.

What makes you the best version of yourself?:

I am the best version of myself when I am focused and present on the situation at hand. Being able to take care of others moods no matter how good or bad, and to redirect them to the right path is what has allowed me to get to where I am today.

What are your aspirations? (Personal and Business):

My personal aspirations are to always take a step back to look at the bigger picture. A narrow mind will never allow you to see more than it can see. There are imperfections in every road that may slow you down or redirect you to a different route. Overall you are still headed for the same destination and you must not lose sight of that. Each little part of life is all part of a greater system in life. You will always be a part of something bigger than what you see yourself as.

Biggest Success?:

My first years in business, I maintained a focus that was on helping people look and feel good on the outside. After doing that for more than 3 decades, I felt it was time for a change in sides. I am now proud to say that for four and a half years I have been taking care of and helping people feel good on the inside.

I am now a keynote speaker and I give presentations to businesses and charity organizations around the globe on the profiting power of positive thinking. I teach professionals how to improve their bottom line by living consciously.

My biggest success since my start is being able to give back to the world and the beautiful people living in it.

Most Challenging Moment?:

The most challenging moment in my life was after my father and brothers had passed away, my mother had an operation done that had failed, this operation left her paralyzed. After this, I decided to leave my job and to take fulltime care for my mother. She was placed into a nursing home where decided to volunteer. After seeing that my mother was not alone in this struggle I decided to start a one-hour reading session that was held once a week for one hour to give back to these people that were suffering. Even though it was difficult to watch my mother suffer, this was a huge turning point in my career once I saw the impact storytelling had on people.

Each day I live by “living in the moment” and being the change I want to see in the world and others. We cannot worry about the future and dwell on the past, if we want something to go a certain way we must work for that to happen. Sitting back and wishing for a better life will get you no where until you get out work for it.

Favorite People/Role Models?:

One of my favorite people and role models would be Jack Canfield Jack Canfield is known as America’s #1 Success Coach. I had the privilege of co-authoring a book with him, The Soul of Success. and he mentored me when I was writing me own book.  One Moment Can Change Your Life: Extraordinary Stories about Ordinary People. – he even wrote the forward!  Another role model would have to be Richard Branson. Before Richard Branson’s success he began as a school dropout. He is now an investor, author and philanthropist. He is proof that life does not have to go as planned to become successful, as long as you do not lose sight of the end goal.

Favorite Places/Destinations?:

My favorite places for travel are Maui Hawaii, Italy, California and Bavaria. Each of these places has a special place in my heart. Aside from the beauty they all give when traveling to them, there is a significant spiritual component with in each of these destinations.

Favorite Products/Objects?:

My Vespa 300GTS. It saves me time on every traffic light allowing me to live an independent fast and free life.

My bicycle helps me to stay in shape and see the beautiful environment around me.

And, of course…my pen to write.

Current Passions?:

I’m extremely passionate about storytelling…especially with the elderly.  I started a reading group for the residents at a local nursing home.  After frequent visits to see my mother in the nursing home, I discovered the loneliness and depression problem that challenged many of the residents. To brighten the scene, I began a reading group. In just a few short weeks, I was shocked to learn these visits became the most anticipated event on the nursing home’s calendar.

I lost my mother several years ago, but I still visit the nursing home each week to read and share stories. Some of their stories were compiled into my book One Moment Can Change Your Life, Extraordinary Stories of Ordinary People.
