Chief Operating Officer, Team Rubicon
Team Rubicon is a veteran-led international disaster response organization founded by U.S. Marines William McNulty and Jake Wood in the aftermath of the 2010 Haiti earthquake. Team Rubicon unites the skills and experiences of military veterans and first responders to rapidly deploy emergency response teams. In doing so, the organization provides veterans with an avenue to regain 3 things they lose after leaving the military: purpose, community, and identity. Since its inception in 2010, Team Rubicon has responded to more than 300 disasters in the U.S. and around the world.”
Art delaCruz served honorably for over 22 years in the United States Navy and enjoyed a career that included a broad range of assignments. After retiring, he spent two and a half years in the aerospace and defense sector in the roles of business development and strategy and planning. He maintains a honed “quick reaction” capability by attempting to keep up with his wife, four kids, golden retriever, and labrador retriever puppy.
