Ashley Sansalone, CMP is the Director of Sales for Four Seasons Hotel Austin. A 20 year hotel veteran, Ashley worked for some of the top hotels in Texas before landing her dream job at Four Seasons Hotel Austin. With a strong belief in community service, Ashley is equally as passionate about serving on industry organization boards, volunteering, teaching Sunday School and being a soccer mom as she is about her career.
I connect people. It is my true pleasure to help someone find the perfect job, service or friend. This philosophy has served me well in sales and I have built a reputation for it in the hotel community.
I work for the best hotel in Austin, Texas and have surrounded myself with the best sales team. My passion for both my product and my team is what sets me apart.
Personal: To raise my two daughters to be happy, strong, independent women with a desire to make an impact. This is my number one priority in life.
Business: To ultimately have a role where I can use my influence to mentor and build young women leaders.
I have a couple of simple mottos that I have lived by my whole life. The first ones I learned from my Mom: “Fake it till you make it” and “Attitude is a choice.” And from my coaches: “No pain no gain” and “Work hard, play hard.” All of these describe me on some level. I believe you have to learn as you go, keep a positive attitude and work hard to get what you want. You also have to love life and have fun.

I am so fortunate that working for Four Seasons gives me the opportunity to travel to some of the top destinations in the world. While I still have a bucket list, Sydney, Maui and Jackson Hole have been some of my favorite Four Seasons destinations so far. I love to travel, but at the end of the day there is no place like home!
I am not a “things” or “gadget” kind of girl. Whatever I use, I like it to be of good quality and simple. I don’t mind paying extra for quality or service.
I have a real passion for Women in Leadership advocacy and feel so fortunate that I have been able to create a program for my hotel that encourages our leaders to think about this issue on a broad level. As a result, many of our managers – both male and female alike – have embraced the program and started the conversation within their departments to help foster a culture of equality and mentorship for our young leaders. I am so proud of our hotel for supporting this initiative and making it a part of the culture!
How will you become the best?
It may sound cliché, but I look for every opportunity to learn and grow. I pay attention to people who I know are good at what they do, and I work hard.
