Health & Wellness Blogger
Danielle Loose is a self-proclaimed health nut, holistic wellness junkie, and native Texan currently living in Los Angeles, CA. With almost a decade of social and digital marketing/sales experience under her belt, she decided to launch her blog, DaniOnTheLoose.com. The site aims to deliver everyday tips and tricks for the modern, millennial female who is always on the go- whether it’s juggling a full time career, school, or life’s many curveballs. The blog was born out of a desire to inspire and educate others about organic, nontoxic, and plant based lifestyle after she has witnessed her mother successfully fight stage 4 ovarian cancer 100% holistically for over six years. Danielle currently lives in sunny Santa Monica, CA with her Maltese and husband, and is pursuing her holistic health coach certification at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition.
My Goal of the Day: To express gratitude. Which, I’ll admit, can be tough. I’m always running around from the moment my alarm goes off that I forget to take a step back and be thankful that I’ve achieved many of the goals I once had for myself. So, instead of always thinking of reaching that next milestone, I try to take a minute to pause and think about how grateful I am for all life’s experiences. This moment usually comes when I go take evening hot yoga class at Sweat Yoga. I’ve also recently started trying out setting a “gratitude alarm” everyday on my phone from the popular blog, Wellness Mama!
My Thought of the Day: I’ve currently been thinking a lot about the next chapter of my life– entrepreneurship with opening up my own holistic health coaching practice, parenthood, and hopefully home ownership. All huge goals. I’ve lately become a lot more aware of the monetary goals I need to achieve in order to support these big ticket items!
My Action of the Day: Practicing saying no and let go of being a “people pleaser.”
What do you love most about your city? You know, it’s interesting because I grew up in a pretty small town, Waco Texas- now more well-known thanks to Chip & Joanna from HGTV’s Fixer Upper show. After college I moved to NYC for a few years. I also lived in Dallas before moving out to LA. I love LA because it offers an awesome mix of the type of lifestyle I desire- Hollywood glamour, city life mixed with the opportunity to explore nature with the ocean and mountains. I like a Gucci belt but I also like granola, ya know? 😉
Favorite restaurant? Tie between Gracias Made and Cafe Gratitude. I consider myself a “healthy” vegan who enjoys fine dining and alcohol ha, so if I were to ever open a restaurant it would be very similar to these health-scene classics!
What drink do you need to get through the day and at the end (and how many)? I literally love coffee and can’t function without it. Being in sales for the majority of my career, I always feel most “on” after a cold brew coffee with almond milk- if we’re getting specific, I am obsessed with the brand Chameleon Coldbrew (black coffee because no added sugar!) and Malk brand, super clean, Vanilla Almond Milk. One cup usually get’s me through the day. Lately I’ve also been supplementing with Sakara online brand detox teas! And of course, lots of water filtered through my Berkey brand water filter.
Favorite Instagram account? The Skinny Confidential. She provides SO much value and is such a role model/mentor for creating a “strategic life on your own terms,” as she says.
What should everyone try at least once? A colonic ha! I wrote a whole post about how life changing they are.
Where do you enjoy getting lost? Funny enough, music festivals only because I love dancing. I can get lost in a good book too though- I read a lot of memoirs.
