What do you love most about Your City?
You can find everything in New York from a subway ride. From trendy fashion, or boutique coffee shops or playing human size chess in the park – I can get to all those places from my office. I enjoy the fast-pace and melting pot of culture very much and have not found that combination anywhere in the world. It attracts so many new and interesting people and even in our company we have already had two of our employees relocate from other cities just to work here.
Favorite breakfast meal & restaurant?
Friedman’s near Penn Station is an amazing spot. It’s a great place to have morning meetings grab an espresso and the blueberry pancakes and your day starts off just right.
What are you doing at:
6:00 AM – Taking a Peloton class or hiding from my bike to avoid it.
10:00 AM – At the office, espresso #1 is fired up and in my first meeting for the day.
12:00 PM – Favorite Lunch spot/meal?
I haven’t gone out for lunch in a long time outside of a client meeting. I have a blender in my office and decided that lunch was just too hard of a daily decision, so I make a protein shake every day and make that lunch.
7:00 PM – Starting to see if it looks like I’ll make the last express train home for the night or if we’re taking the local option. The office is usually emptied or on the track by this point.
11:00 PM – I should have zero unread or unresponded to emails and can catch-up on some Netflix series I’m in for an episode (or more likely half of one) before I fall asleep.
What drink do you need to get through the day and at the end (and how many)?
I drink about 4-5 espressos a day and the time varies day to day. There is a Nespresso machine both in my kitchen at home, and 2 feet from my right arm at work. It is a constant comfort.
Most used App/Favorite Instagram Account?
I consume most of my news from Twitter and still feel it’s the fastest and easiest way to get information. I have followed the same accounts for years and it’s a good combination of world news, tech innovation and entertainment to keep me up on things. Most of the news articles I send around for the company to read are sourced from my Twitter feed.
What should everyone try at least once?
Buy a pint of vanilla ice cream. Then get a small box of instant chocolate pudding. You combine the powder and milk, heat it up on the stove or microwave.
Now scoop a huge bowl of the vanilla ice cream, and pour the hot pudding on top of it. The pudding creates this amazing topping when it hits the frozen ice cream that is nothing like you have ever hard. You’ll thank me.
Where do you enjoy getting lost?
I enjoy wineries and can spend a lot of time getting lost in one.
