Gina Valdes is a holistic health coach, and content manager of Running Wild Wellness, a blog focusing on women empowerment and living your own epic adventure. Running Wild Wellness was born out of the idea that we are all capable of our own healing, with the help of Mother Nature, a little movement, and real food. Gina is an outdoors addict-living a full time life of exploration and travel. She believes in the power of human connection, that self-love is the most important love there is, and that dogs are God’s gift to earth.

What do you love most about your city?
That’s a hard question, because I live all over while traveling 🙂 I spend most of my time in Seward, Alaska though! What I love most about Seward is that you can step outside your front door and immediately feel like you’re on an epic adventure. With the ocean on one side of you, and the mountains on the other, the options are endless!
Favorite breakfast meal & restaurant?
Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, so this is tough!! Either oatmeal loaded with all the goodies, chia pudding, or protein pancakes!
I have wayyyy too many across the country! I’m a sucker for local, farm to table!
What are you doing at:
My day is different everyday, but heres an example:
6:00 AM – Morning routine! My favorite part of the day. Drinking warm lemon water, meditating, journaling, and doing some sort of movement!
10:00 AM -Talking to clients on the phone, blogging, or working on my side mobile income job (involving calls and emails!)
12:00 PM – Favorite Lunch spot/meal?
My favorite lunch is usually some sort of veggie bowl with eggs! And avocado toast of course. I usually like to try to eat lunch outside whenever I can. Actually, I try to eat most meals outside when I can!
7:00 PM -Making time for fun, family, and friends! Depending on where I am, I usually slow down in the evening as far as productivity goes. So I use later in the day to make time for play and the ones I love most. I’m also most likely eating chocolate around this time.
11:00 PM -Soundddd asleep, 9 pm is my preferred bedtime!
What drink do you need to get through the day and at the end (and how many)?
Every morning I start off with warm lemon water, then it’s usually Foursigmatic mushroom coffee or matcha! Water is what I’m sipping on all day long. But I also love kombucha! At night time I love a version of relaxing tea or more Foursigmatic reishi for bedtime 🙂
Most used App/Favorite Instagram Account?
Most used apps: Headspace, Instagram of course, Lightroom
Favorite Instagram account: SO many!! Yogagirl, Shutthekaleup, thewellnecessities, briannamadia, leefromamerica, rachlmansfield, and so many more! I find instagram to be so inspiring (I CHOOSE who I follow and what I want to see), and it’s the best way to connect with like minded friends!
What should everyone try at least once?
Travel on your own! I can not recommend it enough-at least once. It doesn’t have to be a big trip. Just go somewhere and immerse yourself in the surroundings and culture, and enjoy your own company! Traveling has taught me things I’m not sure I would learn any other way.
Where do you enjoy getting lost?
Anywhere and everywhere 🙂 The woods, the road, a new country. Anywhere outdoors is an opportunity for magic.
