Career Snapshot:

Jamie Chandlee is the CEO of Rank & Style, a 12 year advertising industry veteran and a mom of two. Prior to Rank & Style, Jamie was a leader on Facebook’s retail team where she helped brands connect with their consumers, so consumers in turn could make easier and confident purchasing decisions. As a busy working mom, Jamie developed a strong passion for technologies that simplify consumer experiences so people have more time for the parts of their lives not behind a screen. Her vision is for Rank & Style to give people back the time that they waste digging through the endless fashion resources to find the products they like. Jamie is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin and is grateful to be able to help people outside of the office through her participation in social impact organizations including Dell Children’s Medical Center, MJ&M and the University of Texas’ College of Natural Sciences, Human Ecology.

What Else To Know

My Goal of the Day:

Turn off all of my digital devices (phone, computer and TV included) each day for 2 hours, typically from 6-8pm, to be fully present with my kids and husband.

My Thought of the Day:

Slow down.

My Action of the Day:

Working with my  team to help reduce people’s digital consumption and time behind a screen. We hope sustainable online platforms like Rank & Style can help create a more present and balanced society.

My Deed of the Day:

Working with non-profit organizations I’m involved in right now including serving on the fashion committee at Mack, Jack & McConaughey (MJ&M), Dell Children’s Hospital,  and the board of the College of Natural Sciences, Human Ecology at UT Austin.

My Tip of the Day:

Do something kind for someone else every day. A little goes a long way.

A Day in My Life:

What do you love most about Your City?

The laid back vibe but also the endless opportunities for enjoying the outdoors!

Favorite breakfast meal & restaurant?

A green smooth (The Hulk) at Juiceland and even better when my husband hand delivers it 🙂

What are you doing at:

6:00 AM – On my first cup of coffee, checking emails and watching the news. This is my only “me time” before my two kids awaken and then it’s all hands on deck to get everyone out the door.

10:00 AM – Either answering emails or in a team meeting syncing up on social, PR, or other marketing priorities for the week.

12:00 PM – Favorite Lunch spot/meal?

I am big on lunches! It’s the perfect time to catch-up with a friend or colleague… everyone has to eat, right? Clark’s never fails me and it’s right by my office!

7:00 PM – In the midst of my bedtime routine with my two kids. Bath time, bedtime stories and Roses and Thorns (a game we play every day). My husband and I have a no technology rule from 6-8 when winding down the day as a family.

11:00 PM – Fast asleep. If you know me you know that I am much more of an early bird than a night owl. Once my kids are asleep, my routine is checking in on all things business: Slack, Google Analytics, Email, and Instagram.  I also use this time to answer any texts that I hadn’t gotten to that day.

What drink do you need to get through the day and at the end (and how many)?

Two large cups of coffee (black) and Waterloo. I am not a big water drinker so Waterloo helps get the job done.  I am also addicted to Zevia right now! It’s the best!

Most used App/Favorite Instagram Account?

I love Slack- It’s such an efficient way to communicate with our team.

What should everyone try at least once?

A solo trip!

Where do you enjoy getting lost?

Paris, no kids, and with my husband! It’s the best therapy and my happy place!
