BROKER, TOWN RESIDENTIAL
Real estate agency.
From Washington Heights to Battery Park City, Michele’s real estate experience has spanned the entire island of Manhattan since she entered the business over fifteen years ago. No transaction is too small, too large, or too complicated, Michele has experienced them all. A lifetime New Yorker, Michelle took a brief break from the city to attend the University of Miami and sing with the Florida Grand Opera before she returned to study voice at the famed Juilliard School. With a background in theater and opera, Michele loves all the theatricality the city offers. “New York is a show in itself, you step outside and there’s always something happening.” The city is full of fantastic opportunities from opera, theater, and ballet to extraordinary museums and great restaurants. Michele loves every aspect of city life. Recognized as a true “people person,”
Michele provides her clients with the utmost professionalism and personal attention. She develops a relationship of confidence and trust with each client. She allows the client’s needs and desires to dictate the relationship, advising them to “trust your instincts,” when choosing a home, even if it’s a temporary one. “You have to live there, it’s not like buying a piece of furniture you can give away after a few years.” As the proud mom of a daughter at Tufts University in Boston who attended Eleanor Roosevelt High School on the Upper East Side, Michele can help families navigate the best options for their circumstances. Her communication and negotiation skills are first rate as evidenced by her being acclaimed as one of the top agents nationwide by her former company. Allow Michele to guide you through every step of your pursuit of your new home
I believe in kindness. I always try to put the needs of others before my own. In my business and personal life I am very aware of the feelings of others. I treat everyone with equal respect.
In my business which is real estate, I believe what sets me apart is my ability to listen. I listen to the clients desires and never try to impart my own feelings onto them. A home that I love may not be what the client loves. To be cliché, “beauty is in the eye of the beholder.” If I am asked for my opinion, of course I will give it, but I don’t try to sway the client into taking something they don’t love or can’t see themselves living in because it is a better deal for me. The customer always knows what best suits their needs. I pride myself on satisfied customers that will give me referrals and repeat business
Personal Aspirations: I believe that once you are over 40 you cannot tolerate the things you did when you were 20. So I aspire to having peace in my life. Life happens and there are many things that are out of our control, but I want to live my life as peacefully as possible surrounded by people that I care about and that care about me. People that accept me with all my quirks and all my inadequacies. I want a lot of laughter in my life.
Business Aspirations: Real estate has its ups and downs but I hope to have more ups than downs and have my business continue to grow year by year. I want clients that are loyal to me and know whole-heartedly that I am a person they can fully trust.
“Love is rare, life is strange, nothing lasts, people change” from I’m Getting My Act Together and Taking it on the Road by Gretchen Cryer
Most importantly my fabulous 18 year old daughter who gives me unconditional love daily. Also, positive, caring people that enjoy living life to its fullest and don’t live to kvetch.
Everything New York City! The Metropolitan Opera, the Theater District better known as Broadway, the Upper West Side, Chinatown. Fabulous and unusual ethnic restaurants.
My iPhone. How did we ever live without it? In real estate we are always out in the field and we need to have access to our emails for a quick response. It keeps us connected in a way I never could have imagined 20 years ago. College students don’t call so it gives me 24 hour access to texts from my daughter. I love that!
Theater, theater, theater. I love it all. My new favorite show, Something Rotten! Everyone must see it. Two and a half hours of joy and laughter.
How will you become the best?
I love learning something new every day. I Google everything! Never get set in your ways. Update your thinking with the times. In this technology forward world every day there is something new to experience that can make life easier and sometimes more complicated but always better.
What fascinates you?
People that have the ability to trust that they are exactly where they should be and don’t get thrown from their goals by a minor or even a major bump in the road.
